Got My VANS On But They Look Like Sneakers

vans-custom-1Rewind more than 40 years ago, the Van Doren Rubber Company opened its doors for business in Anaheim, CA.  Later to be known as Vans, the shop had the ability to create shoes one pair at a time specific to customer requests.  The canvas shoe quickly became a staple at the beach and in the culture of Southern California.
Today, Vans is taking things back to their roots with the Vans Customs.  There one can customize canvas classics including the Slip-On, Era, and Old-Skool.  In total there are 48 different colors and patterns available and literally thousands of combinations.”
